Eleanor P. We really love these! They are the perfect size for little hands and mouths. Many baby/toddler utensils are too skinny making it hard for the little one to get food on the utensil and making parents nervous when the little one feeds themselves. These aren't too skinny and I don't spend time worried about how narrow or skinny they are. We also love that they are bamboo, are not plastic, and we love thar they come from a woman-owned , b corporation, that cares about the materials they use. These also hold up really well to long term use. We will definitely be buying more!

Natahlia B. These are simply adorable and so well crafted! The fork's teeth are nice and wide, they wont break but are rounded off and short for little mouths! Having 3 teeth it is easy to clean. The spoon is deep enough to eat cereal or pudding with. All in all this is a smooth, beautiful, quality product. Another winner from Bambu! The animal face engravings on the ends of each utensil make meal time so fun.

Hi there, thanks for your question. The Kid's Fork & Spoon set is designed more for younger kids and new eaters. A 5 yr old may be frustrated by the smaller size of fork and spoon, and not able to pick up full size bites. However, if your child is comfortable using smaller utensils then we would recommend them.
