Daena C. The plates are beautiful, smooth, and sturdy. Thank god these exist in the market. They are the best of the convenience of disposable plates, but elevate the palm plates since those often have ridges and are inconsistent in sizing and quality.
These are, however, dangerously small. I bought them because I thought they would serve well for cake for my wedding, but I'll be lucky if I can use them for fruit at all. That is on me, I should have measured it before I ordered. These are PERFECT for canapes or single serving items, like sliders or macarons.

Customer The bambu plates were a big hit at my genuine Hawaiian wedding. I offered appetizers after the ceremony and my guests were surprised with the bambu plates and sporks. If you're going for an all naturel look this will do.

Hi Allan. Thanks for sharing your comments. Sorry the size didn't work out for you. We asked our customers what size app plate they would use/enjoy, and most were happy with the size. But, they may not be right for everyone. Our 7' (round or square) would likely fill your needs well.

Alison W. I ordered a sample pack of Bambu tasting plates since my fiance and I are considering using Bambu's products for cocktail hour at our wedding. The plates' construction evidence good quality control.
You should note that the tasting plates are pretty tiny though - only enough for a one to two bite item. For appetizer plates, we'll need something bigger.

Just some further clarification. If you are referring to the Veneerware range, they will begin to soften and break down when you introduce them to water. That said, if you are satisfied with a clean wipe of a wet cloth, you will get repeated uses. Cleaning under running water, and yes, they will lose their rigidity. How you choose to wash is largely determined by what food you use. The difference between cheese and crackers, and a sloppy joe. :-)
