[...] We are undoubtedly commencing a very “green” year, but Jeff Delkin and Rachel Speth, cofounders of Bambu, have been eco-friendly for quite some time. After over a decade in Asia’s corporate sector, Jeff and Rachel left the rat race to launch Bambu, a “renewable ideas” company based in Shanghai which creates home products designed from plants grown in certified organic bamboo farms. While their products are pretty darn neat, the coolest design aspect lies within the label, which simply states ”Proudly Made in China.” One drawback? It doesn’t look like these products are actually sold much in China. If you’re stateside however, head to Whole Foods or Bristol Farms to check out their wares. Better yet, visit the Bambu website here.
